Description
The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors is seeking to purchase one tandem axle garbage truck and rear loading refuse collection body through a reverse auction process. The contract will be valid until January 1, 2030, with a possible 3% inflation price increase after the second year. The truck and body must be new, unused, and meet the specified minimum requirements. Bidders must provide a guaranteed walk-away residual for 12, 24, and 36 months, as well as locations for parts and service. The bid must include the manufacturer's warranty, approximate delivery time, and any pre-delivery and setup charges.
• The contract will be for a period of 4 years, with the option for inflation price increase after the second year.
• The truck and body must be 2025 or 2026 models or newer.
• Bidders must provide a guaranteed walk-away residual for 12, 24, and 36 months.
• The bid must include the manufacturer's warranty, approximate delivery time, and any pre-delivery and setup charges.
• The lowest and/or best bid will be determined by the Board of Supervisors, and they reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
