Description
The City of Summerville is seeking bids from qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors for the construction and installation of a new, outdoor clear-span basketball court pavilion. The project aims to provide adequate shade and coverage over the existing outdoor basketball court. The selected contractor will be responsible for the complete design, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the pavilion. Key features of the pavilion include:
• Overall dimensions: 80 feet wide, 115 feet long, and 18 feet high
• Clear-span design with no interior columns
• Steel support trusses and a standing seam or ribbed metal roof system
• Gutter and downspout system for roof runoff management
• Compliance with local, state, and federal building codes
The City of Summerville reserves the right to reject all bids, reissue a subsequent RFB, terminate, restructure, or amend this procurement process at any time.
