Gladiolus Bridges over Summerlin Rd - Paint & Minor Repairs

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide painting and minor repairs to the Gladiolus Bridges over Summerlin Road in Fort Myers. The scope of work includes cleaning, surface preparation, crack and spall repairs, coating of existing concrete, roadway striping & pavement markings, and installation of anchor bolts. • The project requires the contractor to provide all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills, and incidentals. • The contractor must comply with the specifications and scope of work outlined in the solicitation documents. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. • The contractor must register with and use the federal E-Verify system to confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees. • The contractor must comply with Florida Statutes Chapter 435 regarding background checks and maintain proper documentation for five years. • The contractor must provide proof of registration with the E-Verify system and comply with Florida Statutes Section 448.095. The bid submission must include all required attachments, such as the affidavit of immigration laws, public entity crime form, and vendor background screening affidavit. The bidder must also provide a bid bond and proof of registration with the E-Verify system.
