The National Park Service is providing public notice of its intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement with Conservation Legacy. The project involves invasive plant management, including organizing plant data and conducting field treatments on multiple invasive (exotic) plants. An intern will assist with the development and management of data associated with invasive plants and field work will include invasive plant control and potentially native re-vegetation. The project aims to standardize Exotic Plant Management data, assist with invasive plant management in the field, and provide records management support.
• Standardize Exotic Plant Management data and make it available for park access
• Assist Southeast Region Exotic Plant Management Teams with invasive plant management in the field
• Treat and remove invasive plants from Southeast Region park sites
• Develop and manage exotic plant data, including updating data in geographic information systems
• Assist with submitting data to parks and the national program as requested
• Implement site-specific invasive plant management for each invasive species management project
