Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is seeking bids for a trailer, rover, for Raptor portable rumble strips. The trailer must be capable of attaching to the department's existing RAPTOR rumble strip setter retriever machine with Road Quake 2F temporary portable rumble strips. The unit must be adaptable to various department-owned trucks and operable from inside the cab of the towing vehicle via a wireless remote. Key features of the trailer include work and warning lights, turn/stop lights, and backup lights.
• The trailer must be able to extend a minimum of 2 feet beyond the pintle.
• The trailer must have a safety hitch basket connector.
• The trailer must have a 7-pin cable with a wiring diagram.
• The trailer must meet the requirements outlined in the solicitation documents, including the EQN-80C and EQN-127A specifications.
