The Lynwood Unified School District is seeking a qualified General Building Contractor (California B‑License) to execute a full modernization of six existing school buildings and associated exterior improvements on the Imperial Campus of Lynwood High School. The work includes complete interior upgrades (new finishes, suspended ceilings, fire‑alarm, restrooms, roofing, HVAC, lighting, signage, access‑control, audio‑visual, rigging, kitchen equipment), exterior site work (landscaping, concrete/asphalt replacement, pavers, site lighting, exterior finishes), and concrete upgrades to the on‑site parking structure. The contract is a 359‑day DSA‑regulated public‑work project valued at approximately $50‑$60 million, with a 40 % self‑performance requirement and prevailing‑wage compliance. Bids must be submitted by May 21, 2026 after mandatory pre‑bid site walks on May 6, 2026, and all subcontractors must be pre‑qualified and submit a Community Workforce Agreement Letter of Assent.
