Job Order Contract for Flooring (JOC 2611 and JOC 2612)

The County of San Mateo is seeking Flooring Contractors for Job Order Contracts (JOC) to provide flooring services within a designated area of the County. The work to be done consists of providing all labor, materials, tools, appurtenances, and equipment required as well as any other items and details not mentioned but required by the Contract Documents and as directed by the Director of Public Works or the Director's designee. The County intends to bring under contract up to two contractors to provide services with an aggregate fiscal obligation not to exceed $2,000,000 for each agreement during a maximum individual term of one year. • The contractor will be required to execute Gordian’s General Terms of Use and pay a 1% JOC System License Fee to obtain access to the Gordian JOC Solution. • The contractor must have a minimum five-year continuous experience as prime on projects of comparable quality, size, complexity, and type. • The contractor must have completed at least three projects of comparable quality, size, complexity, and type. • The contractor must have locally available trades staff to accomplish smaller, short notice Job Orders within 24 hours, at a minimum in the areas of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
