Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for waste and recycling collection services at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Michigan. The services include collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste, as well as proper handling and recycling of designated recyclable materials. The contract is expected to include weekly pickups for 52 weeks per year.
• The contractor shall provide 8-cubic yard containers for general waste and 4-cubic yard containers for recyclable waste.
• The contractor shall perform weekly pickup and servicing of each container.
• The contractor shall provide a 30-cubic yard roll-off dumpster on-call for general waste, headstones, and construction material.
• The contractor shall include documentation to support invoiced amounts for extra tonnage charges and ancillary fees.
