Juneau WFO Snow Removal

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a contractor to provide snow removal services at the National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Juneau, Alaska. The contractor will be responsible for removing snow and ice from the parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks, and applying gravel, sand, and ice melt as necessary. The contract will be for a period of approximately 122 days, from the date of award to April 1, 2026. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the work. • The contractor will be required to monitor weather forecasts and conditions and initiate snow removal services as needed. • The contractor will be required to keep the parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks clear of snow and ice. • The contractor will be required to apply gravel, sand, and ice melt as necessary to treat existing or developing unsafe conditions. • The contractor will be required to provide a statement demonstrating their capability to perform the required scope of work, including relevant experience for the same or similar services within the past two years. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
