The Montebello Unified School District is seeking a qualified architect to provide comprehensive design services for a new parking lot at Bell Gardens Intermediate School (Adult Education). The scope includes demolition of existing classrooms, site conversion to parking, fencing, ADA‑compliant access, new asphalt, topographic engineering, underground utilities survey, DSA certification, cost estimating, and construction‑phase support such as submittal review, RFIs, meeting attendance, and minutes. The architect must attend a mandatory job‑walk on May 15, 2026, respond to RFIs by May 22, 2026, and submit the bid by May 29, 2026. • Deliver DSA‑approved architectural and engineering plans (demolition, parking layout, fencing, ADA access, asphalt). • Provide topographic data, underground utilities survey, and an estimated construction cost. • Offer on‑site construction support: attend job‑walk, pre‑construction and construction meetings, review submittals/RFIs, and submit meeting minutes. • Obtain DSA certification and submit all required forms, licenses, and insurance after award.
