Design & Engineering Services for Courthouse Limestone Repairs

Weld County is seeking a vendor to provide design and engineering services for the exterior stone rehabilitation of the Weld County Courthouse. The scope of work includes providing an architectural design, methods and products for stain removal, stone repair, and cleaning, as well as designing for repointing and other masonry work. The vendor will also be responsible for construction administration and will be required to attend meetings and provide progress updates. The project will be evaluated based on the best value to the county, considering factors such as the vendor's experience, qualifications, and price. • The vendor must have a minimum of 6 years of experience designing limestone/sandstone historical repairs. • The vendor must have an individual with 8 years of experience working with historical buildings. • The vendor must provide 8 or more historical projects that included limestone/sandstone repairs or rehabilitation. • The vendor must provide a detailed proposal outlining their approach, methodology, and qualifications. • The vendor must be able to provide construction administration services and attend meetings as required.
