Description
The Town of Falmouth is seeking bids for the construction of the Great Pond Phase 1 Sewer Area Collection System. The project involves constructing approximately 11,000 feet of gravity sewer, 33,000 feet of HDPE low-pressure sewer, and 11,000 feet of HDPE force main. The contractor will have 580 calendar days to achieve substantial completion and 630 calendar days to achieve final completion. The project is subject to various federal and state regulations, including the Build America, Buy America Act and the American Iron and Steel requirements.
• The project requires compliance with the Department of Environmental Protection's Diesel Retrofit Program.
• The project is funded in part by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust.
• Bidders must certify that their bids have been prepared without collusion with other bidders, subcontractors, or suppliers.
• The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the Town of Falmouth.
• The Town of Falmouth reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
