Budget estimate

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this contract is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a clear indication of the contract value. However, based on the scope of work, which includes pharmacy benefit management, filling of initial prescriptions, compounded sterile or non-sterile products, and vaccines for Veterans, the contract value could be substantial. The contractor will be reimbursed on a unit basis for resources furnished at the prices listed in the Schedule of Supplies/Services portion of the BPA. The contractor will also be required to provide monthly reports and maintain documentation for all prescriptions filled, which could result in a significant amount of administrative work. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of Veterans served, the types of prescriptions filled, and the costs associated with providing pharmacy benefit management services. A rough estimate for the budget could be in the range of $10 million to $50 million per year, depending on the scope of work and the number of Veterans served.
