Description
The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD) is seeking sealed responses for semi-trailers to be purchased by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The contract will have an initial term commencing on the effective date set out in a Notice of Award issued by CPA and automatically expiring upon the delivery agreed upon with the Contractor and the final acceptance by TDCJ or on August 31, 2026, whichever occurs first. The Respondent must provide a statement that they intend to obtain and maintain the minimum insurance coverage specified in the solicitation. The warranty period will begin on the date the product is accepted by the Customer and continue in effect for at least 1 year from that date.
• The semi-trailers must be new, unused, and in first-class condition, including containers suitable for shipment and storage.
• The Respondent must provide complete descriptive information for each product offered, including manufacturer, brand or trade name, and product number.
• The Respondent must submit a Mandatory Price Sheet with their Response, which must be completed in the format requested.
• The Respondent must provide proof of insurance and maintain the required insurance throughout the contract.
• The Respondent must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to insurance, shipping, and delivery.
