Description
The County is seeking qualified contractors to perform pedestrian‑improvement work along approximately 0.84 mi of Old Norcross Road (SR 120/Duluth Highway) and Venture Drive. The scope includes earthwork, grading, curb & gutter, sidewalk and concrete flat‑work, concrete structures, asphalt paving, and storm‑drain installation, with detailed quantities provided. Bidders must submit sealed, duplicate bids by the deadline, include a 5 % bid bond, and be able to furnish 100 % performance and payment bonds meeting an A‑8 rating. Plans are available for purchase at $50 per set.
• Earthwork: 1,500 CY clearing & grading
• Concrete flat work: 3,464 SY, plus 40 CY of concrete structures
• Curb & gutter: 1,654 LF; storm‑drain pipe: 342 LF; asphalt: 50 TN
• Required bonds: 5 % bid bond; 100 % performance & payment bonds (A‑8 rating)
• Submission: sealed duplicate bids by 2:50 PM, June 25 2026; bid opening virtual at 3:00 PM same day.
