Request for Information - Lot 6 Development

The County of Nevada is seeking input from qualified developers interested in leasing and developing an approximately 5.2 acre portion of Lot 6 of the Loma Rica Industrial Park, located at the Nevada County Airport. The County intends to enter into a long-term ground lease with a developer who will design, finance, construct, and/or operate improvements on the site. The development should support County goals of improving airport vitality and sustainability, enhancing aviation infrastructure, and promoting compatible land use. Potential uses for the site include aeronautical and/or compatible non-aeronautical uses such as a fly-in restaurant/lounge or retail space(s), flight school, aircraft maintenance and repair facilities, or additional hangar spaces. • The site is approximately 5.2 acres in size and is located within the Nevada County Airport campus. • The site has access to public roads and the FBO ramp, making it suitable for a variety of land uses. • The County is open to considering all ideas and opportunities that best support the County’s objective of Airport sustainability and economic growth and vitality. • The developer will be responsible for design, finance, and construction of improvements, as well as operation and maintenance of the facility. • The developer will also be responsible for complying with FAA, County, and zoning regulations, and assuming all permitting and environmental review responsibilities.
