Pittsburgh Technology Center Parcel 11-S-44 - Rolling RFP

The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA) is seeking developers to submit a proposal for the purchase and development of a 1.51-acre site in the Pittsburgh Technology Center. The goal of the RFP is to select a developer who will further progress the Preliminary Land Development Plan (PLDP) and encourage the growth of advanced technology industries. The developer will be required to submit a proposal that includes a description of the proposed renovation and reuse of the site, schematic drawings, a preliminary development pro forma, and a financing plan. The URA encourages innovative and creative responses to this RFP and will review and consider proposals that are outside of the site uses detailed in the PLDP. • The site is located in a premier research and development cluster, with close access to universities, hospitals, and other amenities. • The site is part of the Pittsburgh Innovation District and is designated as a state Enterprise Zone and a Keystone Innovation Zone. • The URA requires a good faith effort to meet or exceed the City's 12% minority workforce inclusion goal and 18% minority and 7% women participation goals. • The developer will be required to comply with the URA's Disposition Process and enter into a written Disposition Contract. • The URA reserves the right to select or reject any proposal at its sole discretion.
