The State of North Carolina, Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking a vendor to provide a 2023 or newer Chevy Traverse RS AWD or better with Braunability dropped floor conversion and additional modifications. The contract term will be for one year, and the vendor will be required to provide a free product demonstration at the client's residence to ensure a proper wheelchair/client fit. The vendor will also be responsible for providing training on the safe and proper use of the adaptive equipment. • The scope of work includes the provision of a vehicle with a dropped floor conversion and additional modifications. • The vendor will be required to provide a warranty for the conversion and installation. • The vendor will be responsible for providing training on the safe and proper use of the adaptive equipment. • The vendor will be required to provide certification and safety labels for all manufactured items and/or fabricated assemblies. • The vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the contract requirements and recognized industry practices.
