Downtown Buildings Rehabilitation

The Town of Hobgood is requesting proposals for a "turn-key" project to provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the rehabilitation of three town-owned buildings. The project includes exterior renovations and new construction, but does not include electrical and HVAC work. The contractor will be responsible for providing all relevant materials, hardware, and instruction for the project. The town requires that all contractors performing work on town property maintain minimum insurance coverage. Key aspects of the project include: • Structural items: new concrete footings, columns, trusses, LVLs, and galvanized metal roofing • Front façade: renovation with new recessed entries, applied brick, awnings, storefronts, and entry doors • Interior furring and finishes: new furring along interior walls • Patch and replace missing CMU and brick The town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the town.
