Amendment 1: Emergency Room (ER) HVAC Airflow Balancing and Ductwork Modification - KHC

The Indian Health Service is seeking a contractor to modify the existing ductwork configuration and install balancing components to improve airflow distribution in the Emergency Department at the Kayenta Health Care Center. The contractor will need to provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project, which includes demolition, duct modification, damper installation, sealing and insulation, testing and balancing, and cleanup. The contractor must comply with applicable healthcare facility standards and codes, including ASHRAE, FGI, and NFPA. * The project requires a licensed HVAC/Mechanical contractor with necessary electrical qualifications, bonding, and insurance. * The contractor must have experience performing HVAC modifications in active healthcare or clinical environments. * The contractor must provide a detailed project timeline, including mobilization, execution phases, testing and balancing procedures, and final completion. * The contractor must minimize disruptions to ongoing medical operations and maintain a safe and functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors. * The contractor must provide a warranty for workmanship and equipment.
