Description
The City of Richmond is seeking a qualified contractor to replace three aging 10,300‑gal sodium hypochlorite (SHC) storage tanks at its Richmond Water Pollution Control Plant. The work includes demolition of existing tanks, associated piping, electrical and instrumentation, and installation of new double‑wall tanks with seismic restraints, new CPVC fill and discharge piping, valve and control systems, and full testing/commissioning while the plant remains operational. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, permits, safety plans, and coordination to ensure continuous SHC supply throughout construction.
