The City of Grants Pass is soliciting sealed written bid proposals from contractors with expertise and experience providing design and construction services for a design-build project to add three storage units to an existing metal storage building. The project involves designing and constructing three new storage units, two individual 12x24ft units and a 24ftx24ft unit, to match the aesthetic, materials, and functional design of the existing units. The selected firm will be responsible for all phases, including architectural and engineering design, preparation of construction documents, obtaining all necessary permits, and completing the construction. The project is estimated to be approximately $140,000.00. • The project requires compliance with applicable local, state, and federal codes, including those enforced by the City of Grants Pass Building Division. • The project involves site preparation, foundation, structural construction, doors and access, electrical work, insulation, finishes, utilities, and cleanup. • The selected firm must provide proof of current City business license, State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board License, and Contractor’s Prequalification. • The evaluation criteria include quality and applicability of proposal, history of previous experience, results of reference checks, and bid price.
