Description

The Wisconsin Air National Guard at Truax Field in Madison, WI is seeking sources capable and willing to provide 15 portable platform ladders with passthrough safety cages. The ladders must meet minimum requirements, including compliance with ANSI, OSHA, and United States Air Force safety standards, a working platform height of 7 feet, a lightweight guardrail system, and a gate system for safe access. The ladders must be constructed of lightweight fiberglass material and have features such as slip-resistant bases, wheels, and a locking device to prevent accidental movement. • The ladders must allow work from the top, providing pass-through access to other working levels. • The guardrail system should be detachable to enable the entire ladder unit to be stored in equipment travel containers. • The ladder must have a broad base to prevent accidental tipping or collapse. • Protection against corrosion is essential. • The design should minimize the possibility of damage to the aircraft if the ladder were to accidentally strike the aircraft.

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this contract is likely to be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000, considering the quantity of 15 ladders and the complexity of the design. The final budget will depend on the vendor's pricing, the materials used, and the production costs. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the vendor's experience in producing similar products, the level of customization required, and the production timeline.
