Airborne Position Location System (APLS)

The U.S. Army Operational Test Command, Airborne and Special Operations Test Directorate (ABNSOTD) is seeking vendors to provide Airborne Position Location System (APLS) sustainment support services. The services include hardware depot level repair, refurbishment, software configuration, and upgrades, both onsite at Government facilities and at the contractor's facility. The APLS hardware supported under this acquisition includes personnel units, MAPLS units, pallet units, GPS re-radiators, and rapid data download/charger rack and analysis workstations. The contractor will also provide system hardware and software support training, onsite service support, and additional support. The period of performance shall consist of a five (5) year base IDIQ type contract with task order periods covering 60 months. Some key points to consider: • The contract will be for a base period of 5 years with a possible extension. • The contractor will be required to provide support for various APLS hardware and software components. • The contractor will need to have a quality control plan in place to ensure services are performed in accordance with the contract. • The contractor will be required to provide training to ABNSOTD staff on the APLS system. • The contractor will need to have the necessary security clearances and follow all applicable security protocols.
