Iteris ClearGuide Sole Source

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is seeking to continue its existing contract with Iteris for the ClearGuide real‑time traffic data platform, including the MAP‑21 application, HERE SDK & API, and associated software maintenance and support. The platform is deeply integrated with SCDOT’s Traffic Management Center (TMC) systems such as the SC511 Traveler Information System and the Yunex (Siemens) Concert ATMS. Because the solution is proprietary and the agency relies on historical traffic data, training, and system integration, SCDOT has justified a sole‑source procurement. The award will enable continued operation, data collection, and reporting for statewide transportation management, public safety, and planning. • Provide ongoing software maintenance, updates, and technical support for the Iteris ClearGuide platform. • Ensure seamless integration with existing SCDOT TMC systems (SC511, Yunex Concert ATMS) and maintain access to historical traffic data. • Deliver MAP‑21 reporting capabilities and maintain the HERE mapping SDK/API components used across the network. • Support statewide real‑time traffic monitoring, incident response, and data‑driven transportation planning. • Preserve continuity of service to avoid disruptions to commerce, convenience, and safety across South Carolina.
