Description
The Norton Correctional Facility is seeking bids for the supply of two 75 lb tumble dryers and one 85 lb Hardmount washer/extractor. The contract terms are for a one-time purchase, and the contractor shall be responsible for installation of all units. The bid price must include shipping, handling, delivery, installation, startup, and all required connections. The state of Kansas requires a minimum 365-day warranty.
• The tumble dryers must be Unimac brand, model UT075VN0NBA6S0000, with a 3-year parts warranty and touch control 48 programmable cycles.
• The Hardmount washer/extractor must be Unimac brand, model UWT085V40VQ050EA00, with a 10-year bearing warranty and 5-speed extract.
• The contractor must provide all fasteners, hardware, wiring/cabling, tools, and equipment required to install the bid equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• The state of Kansas is exempt from state sales or use taxes and federal excise taxes for direct purchases.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws and regulations.
• The contract may be terminated by the state if sufficient funds are not appropriated to continue the function performed in this agreement.
