Holiday Tree Lighting - Middlefield Road

The County of San Mateo Department of Public Works is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to furnish, install, and maintain holiday tree lighting along Middlefield Road in the North Fair Oaks community. The project aims to enhance the streetscape and create a festive atmosphere for residents, visitors, and local businesses during the holiday season. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all necessary holiday lights, installing them on designated trees, and maintaining the lighting system until removal. The contract term is one year, and the County reserves the right to waive or correct any defects in the proposal process. • The contractor must supply all necessary holiday lights and install them on 66 trees along Middlefield Road. • The lights must be white, with a Kelvin rating between 2700K-3000K, and spaced 4 inches apart. • The contractor must provide regular maintenance, including necessary repairs and replacements, to ensure optimal performance of the lighting system. • The contractor must remove the lights after the operational period and deliver them to a County-designated storage location. • The County will provide power at the base of each tree, and the contractor must connect the holiday lights using coaxial connectors.
