Right of Way Mowing Services

The City of Blue Springs, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide right of way mowing services for the Parks and Recreation Department. The contractor will be responsible for mowing and maintaining grass areas within the City's rights-of-way and City-owned properties. The contract will be for a period of 3 years, with the option to renew for an additional 2 years. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to perform the mowing services. • The contractor must have experience in providing similar services to at least one customer with a project similar in size and complexity. • The contractor must provide a minimum of two references. • The contractor must comply with all requirements of the proposal submittal. • The contractor must provide a detailed timeline schedule for the completion of the project. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to perform the mowing services. • The contractor must take special care to avoid damage to irrigation systems, landscaping, trees, and buildings. • The contractor must remove all litter and trash from each site prior to mowing. • The contractor must provide daily communication to the Contract Manager identifying areas completed and planned work for the following day.
