Description
This solicitation calls for an “on‑call” bridge repair contract covering all maintenance‑type bridge work in Pickens County, South Carolina. The award will be a five‑year indefinite‑quantity agreement, with work ordered as needs arise. The contractor must be capable of performing a wide range of bridge‑deck joint repairs, concrete and asphalt work, fibercrete applications, high‑density polyurethane foam leveling, soil stabilization, pipe rehabilitation, and associated traffic‑control and de‑watering services. Bids are to be submitted electronically by the deadline, and the lowest responsive bidder will be awarded.
• Scope includes silicon joint replacement, V‑Seal joint replacement, elastomeric concrete repair, asphalt joint repair, Fibercrete B & G bridge‑deck repairs, HDPF slab leveling/void‑filling, polyurethane soil stabilization, and CIPP pipe rehab.
• Estimated quantities are provided for each line item (e.g., ~420 LF silicon joints ≤ 1 in., 1,000 lb Fibercrete G, 8,000 lb HDPF, etc.) – the contractor must submit unit prices for all items.
• Work must comply with AASHTO and ASTM standards, include all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals, and be performed under SCDOT supervision with required insurance and bonding.
