The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting lease proposals for a minimum of 1,593 to a maximum of 2,960 gross rentable square feet of commercial storefront space in Winter Haven, FL. The space will be used as an Armed Forces Career Center and must meet specific requirements, including providing adequate parking, installing certain fixtures and equipment, and complying with federal, state, and local construction standards. The lease is for a five-year term, and the government is seeking a full-service lease that includes all utilities and janitorial services.
• The leased premises must be located within a 1 1/4 mile radius of 828 Havendale Blvd. NW, Winter Haven, FL 3381.
• The space must contain adequate and assigned parking for approximately nine government vehicles.
• The lease is for a five-year term with government termination rights.
• A full-service lease is preferred, including all utilities and janitorial services.
• The government's space and service requirements are described in the attached documents, including Minimum and Specific Requirements, Construction and Security Specifications, and Janitorial Services Specifications.
• The lessor is responsible for all permits, drawings, constructing, operating, maintaining, and obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy for the leased premises.
• The lessor must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract.
