SOURCES SOUGHT STEEL GRIT IDIQ

The DLA Weapons Support is seeking sources for a sole-source, IDIQ contract for steel grit. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-1, and a Justification and Approval for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The steel grit must meet specific requirements, including a hardness range of 54-61 HRC and durability per SSPC AB3. Interested parties must submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements. The documentation should include information about the organization, its capabilities, and experience. • The contract is for a base year and 4 option years. • The steel grit must meet the requirements of SAE J1993 and SSPC AB3. • The contract is expected to be awarded to ERVIN INDUSTRIES, but other interested parties may submit information to be considered for a potential competitive procurement. • The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. • Only written responses will be considered, and all responses from responsible sources will be fully considered.
