Ralph M. Lewis Sports Park Artificial Turf Installation for Fields 5 & 6

The City of Fontana is seeking a qualified contractor to remove existing synthetic turf and install new FieldTurf 2.5″ Vertex CORE with CoolPlay on Fields 5 and 6 at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Park. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals for removal, disposal, and installation, following the manufacturer’s instructions and approved shop drawings. The City supplies the turf material; the contractor must be a FieldTurf Certified Installer and hold a California Specialty Contractor’s License (Class D‑12 or C‑27). The bid must include a 10 % bid bond, and performance & payment bonds (100 % of contract) are required after award. Liquidated damages are set at $1,000 per day of delay. Retention of 5 % will be withheld, with final release 35 days after completion.
