Description
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is seeking a contractor to scan approximately 16 million images of case files, which are currently stored in about 1000 boxes. The contractor must have prior experience scanning forensic laboratory records for an accredited crime laboratory or law enforcement agency. The contractor will be required to store the scanned case files in a secure climate-controlled environment for five years and ensure that all information on devices used for scanning is removed. The contractor must also provide 100% image quality inspection of all scanned data and correct any errors in the scanning process. Some of the key requirements for the contractor include:
• Having prior experience scanning forensic laboratory records
• Storing scanned case files in a secure climate-controlled environment
• Providing 100% image quality inspection of all scanned data
• Correcting any errors in the scanning process
• Ensuring that all information on devices used for scanning is removed
• Limiting resources, including personnel, to US-based (on-shore) resources only
• Being currently CJIS, HIPAA, and SOC2 compliant
