The Waltham Housing Authority is seeking bids from licensed asbestos remediation contractors for the abatement of asbestos-containing materials at 56-62 Pond Street in Waltham, Massachusetts. The project involves the removal of asbestos-containing materials, including floor tiles, floor mastic, and cove base, from common hallways and the community room/laundry room. The selected contractor will be responsible for completing the abatement work in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• The project requires the removal of approximately 840 square feet of asbestos-containing materials from the stairwells and common areas of the building.
