Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,500,000

The program’s total funding envelope is $3 M, with an estimated typical award of $2.5 M per project. Assuming a range of project scopes—from modest site assessments to full‑scale remediation—the budget could vary from a few hundred thousand dollars (for smaller, partial‑cleanup loans) up to the full $2.5 M award. Factors influencing the final amount include the size and contamination level of the property, the cost of required remediation measures, and the applicant’s repayment capacity.
