Description
Morrow County Parks is seeking qualified individuals (or couples) to serve as seasonal park hosts at three county parks—Anson Wright, Cutsforth, and the Off‑Highway Vehicle (OHV) park—providing on‑site visitor assistance, light maintenance, safety oversight, and general park operations throughout the 2025 season. Hosts must live on‑site in a self‑contained RV, hold appropriate insurance, and be able to perform basic upkeep tasks. The County will compensate hosts on a per‑day basis, with rates ranging from $40 to $65 depending on the park and role.
• Core duties include greeting visitors, monitoring campsite usage, performing light maintenance (litter pickup, restroom restocking, fire pit cleaning), opening/closing facilities, and reporting emergencies.
• Compensation is daily‑rate based ($40‑$65 per day) for the May 1 – November 20, 2025 period; total earnings depend on the number of days worked at each site.
• Mandatory qualifications: ownership of a self‑contained RV, ability to pass a background check, and provision of General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Automobile Liability insurance meeting County‑specified limits.
• Submissions are due April 10, 2025 (1:00 p.m. PST) via mail, in‑person, or UPS/FedEx to the Risk & Procurement Manager. No pre‑bid meeting or site visit is required.
