Description
The Borough of Atlantic Highlands is seeking a qualified municipal attorney to serve as its Borough Attorney for the 2022 calendar year. The attorney will provide routine counsel, attend council meetings, draft ordinances and resolutions, and handle a range of “other services” on an hourly basis, including litigation, tax appeals, labor matters, and special projects. Compensation consists of a fixed salary cap of $25,000 plus hourly rates of $130 for attorneys and $50 for paralegals, with out‑of‑pocket expenses reimbursable. The firm must meet extensive New Jersey statutory compliance requirements (affirmative‑action, pay‑to‑play, insurance, etc.).
