Notice of Intent to Sole Source SKC personal noise dosimeters and sound level meters

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with SKC Inc. for the purchase of personal noise dosimeters and sound level meters. The equipment is needed to replace outdated and inoperable equipment in the current inventory and will be used to investigate and conduct noise surveys for the Department of Defense. • The required equipment includes personal noise dosimeters, sound level meters, and calibrators. • The equipment will be used to measure noise level hazards and conduct noise surveys. • The contract is expected to be awarded on a sole-source basis, but interested parties can submit technical data and cost information to determine their capability in providing the same product.
