Description
The City and Borough of Juneau issued a request for bids for the Eagle Valley Center Energy Efficiency Upgrades project, which included exterior envelope upgrades, installation of an electric hydronic heating system, and other improvements. However, the contract was cancelled due to the lowest bid exceeding available funding. The project was being managed by the Engineering Department, and Greg Smith was the point of contact. Some of the key features of the project included:
• Exterior envelope upgrades, including insulation, new metal siding, windows, and doors
• Installation of an electric hydronic heating system
• Domestic water upgrades and electrical upgrades
• Basic occupancy functions of the interior remaining unchanged
