B23-107 Crushing of Aggregate @ Landfill

This contract provides a firm‑price agreement for the Town of Derry to have a private contractor crush approximately 8,500 cubic yards of mixed aggregate material (concrete, cobbles, asphalt, soil, gravel) at the municipal landfill, producing a 6‑inch‑minus aggregate product. The work must be mobilized after July 1 2023 and completed no later than December 31 2023. The awarded vendor, Snook’s Mobile Screening, LLC, will supply a mobile crushing unit (minimum 28 in × 44 in. jaws), necessary auxiliary equipment, operators, and all permits/insurance required. Payment is based on a unit price per cubic yard, with settlement within 30 days of accepted completion. • Scope: 8,500 cy of mixed demolition and earth materials to be crushed onsite to ≤ 6‑inch aggregate. • Performance timeline: earliest mobilization July 1 2023; final completion deadline December 31 2023. • Vendor responsibilities: provide crushing equipment, operator crew, permits, insurance, and adhere to safety/environmental standards.
