Firearm Accessories and Body Armor

The County of Riverside is soliciting quotations for firearm accessories and body armor for the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. The contract is for a one-time purchase, and the County will award the bid to the most responsible and responsive vendor without negotiation. The quotation must include the cost of manufacture assembly, one year warranty, shipping, handling, delivery, fuel surcharges, and/or freight. The awarded bidders for body plates and body rifle accessories are RMA Armament Inc and Galls LLC, respectively. • The contract includes various firearm accessories such as lower receiver groups, stocks, barrels, and triggers. • The contract also includes body armor plates. • The vendors must quote all the rifle parts, and the rifles must come pre-assembled. • The County has a local preference program, which gives a 5% price preference to local vendors. • The contract has a net 30 payment term.
