Production of Commercial Plant Mix Material as Needed Butte Area

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is seeking a vendor to produce commercial plant mix material as needed for the Butte area. The contract requires the vendor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to produce approximately 3,125 tons of commercial plant mix material on an "as-needed" basis throughout the duration of the contract. The vendor must be capable of supplying all commercial plant mix materials, including valid mix designs, and provide unit prices for all bid items. The contract will be administered by a Maintenance Chief or designated Project Manager. • The contract duration is from July 2025 to June 30, 2026. • The vendor must provide commercial plant mix material Monday through Friday, with the exception of state-observed holidays. • The Department will provide the haul trucks and pick up the commercial plant mix at the vendor's plant. • The vendor must meet all related specification requirements, including air quality permits and emission standards. • The contract includes special provisions for contractor-produced plant mix, including equipment and batch ticket requirements. • The vendor must provide a copy of each mix design that will be used to provide commercial plant mix as needed. • The Department reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as needed.
