Description
This contract awards L & L HAULING LLC the responsibility for a full wet‑demolition and site‑clearance project at 1508 Lemon Street, Mobile, AL. The scope includes demolition of all structures, utility capping, debris removal, erosion and sediment control, lead‑based paint and asbestos handling, and final site restoration with seeding and mulching. The contractor must also publish a notice of final completion and provide extensive documentation (photos, waste‑shipment records, insurance, E‑Verify proof, and AIA close‑out forms). The work must be completed within 15 calendar days of receiving a notice to proceed, with a $250 per day liquidated‑damage charge for delays.
• Wet demolition of all buildings, footings, slabs, and piers.
• Utility line capping (sewer, water, gas) and full debris removal, including tires, shrubs, and small trees.
• Installation and maintenance of temporary BMPs for erosion control, followed by permanent site stabilization (top‑soil, seeding, mulching).
• Management of lead‑based paint and asbestos‑containing material in compliance with NESHAP and disposal at a permitted landfill.
