Alameda Northwest and West Lakes Gardens Second Addition Drainage Improvement Projects

The Town of Miami Lakes is seeking a contractor to perform drainage and road improvements, including drainage system installation, milling, and resurfacing, thermoplastic pavement markings, and site restoration. The contract was awarded to Metro Express, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,971,572. The project will be funded through the Stormwater Utility System Revenue Bonds Series 2021. Key aspects of the project include: • Drainage system installation • Milling and resurfacing • Thermoplastic pavement markings • Site restoration, including landscaping swale, concrete curb and gutter, driveways, mailbox, street signs, etc. The contractor must have at least five years of experience performing drainage improvement work of a similar size, scope, and complexity for local and county government agencies.
