Annual Contract for On-Call Parking Lot/Curb Striping Services

The Olathe Public Schools USD 233 is soliciting bids for an annual contract for on-call parking lot/curb striping services. The contract will be for a three-year term with two optional one-year extensions. The scope of services includes standard dropoff/pickup lanes, parking spaces, crosswalks, ADA/directional symbols, numbering, curb painting, and misc. playground striping at multiple locations and on various surfaces across the District. The contract was awarded to All Pro Asphalt & Maintenance and Olathe Striping LLC. • The contract has a total annual not-to-exceed amount of $50,000, split between the two awarded contractors. • The contract includes unit costs and takes annual escalation percentage increases into consideration over the potential five-year term. • The Executive Director of Facilities and Operations will determine which projects will utilize the on-call service contracts and which projects will be bid on a case-by-case basis. • The contract is part of the District's efforts to streamline the competitive bidding process for trade services related to infrastructure repair/maintenance.
