Description
This contract is a rebid for FY 27 to provide repair parts and maintenance services for IDOT’s Central Sign Shop hydrostripper equipment. The State will purchase non‑core repair parts (OEM, new, in original packaging) at a fixed unit cost with a vendor‑provided percent discount, as well as labor services charged at an hourly rate. An estimated $100 K is allocated for non‑core parts and $80 K for travel reimbursements over the initial two‑year term. The award will be made to the lowest‑priced responsive and responsible vendor through an open‑market Invitation‑for‑Bid (IFB). The contract includes detailed reporting requirements (monthly delivery and warranty reports, annual activity summary) and requires the vendor to maintain a printed or web‑based catalog of parts. A single 24‑month renewal option is available, subject to a 90‑day economic‑adjustment request. The work will be performed primarily at the IDOT Sign Shop in Springfield, IL, with emergency parts delivery required within two hours of request.
