The County of Kern is seeking to purchase a new and unused 450/4500 XL 4x4, V8 Diesel Crew Cab DRW Cab Chassis. The contract was not awarded to any of the vendors due to various exceptions and unacceptable deviations from the specifications. The scope of work includes the delivery of the vehicle within 30 days after receipt of the order. The contract is subject to various terms and conditions, including a warranty and pricing valid until the truck sells. • The vehicle must be a new and unused F450/4500 XL, 4x4 DRW Crew Cab Chassis • The vehicle must have a V8 Diesel motor and a 10-speed auto transmission with tow haul • The vehicle must have a GVWR of 16,500 and a 4.10 limited slip gear ratio • The vehicle must have a hi-capacity trailer tow package and a factory-integrated brake controller • The vehicle must have a power telescoping mirror and a rear view camera
