Measure C Bille Rd Overlay

The contract is for the Measure C Bille Rd Overlay project, which involves road rehabilitation work on Bille Road from Fern Lane to Oliver Road. The work includes conform grinding of existing asphalt concrete, installation of a 0.10’ ½” aggregate HMA leveling course, installation of 0.15’ HMA overlay, placement of traffic striping, and placement of retroreflective recessed markers. The Engineer’s Estimate for this contract is $120,000. The contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a payment bond each in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. • The project requires the payment of prevailing wage rates. • The contractor shall possess a California Class A license or a combination of classes required by the categories and types of project work included in this contract. • The contract is subject to liquidated damages of $1,000 per working day delay. • The Town of Paradise reserves the right to reject any and all bids presented, modify or cancel the notice inviting bids, and determine to re-advertise for bids.
