This contract awards a one‑year, city‑wide sewer sampling and laboratory analysis service to the vendor Pace. The work includes providing pre‑labeled sample containers, collecting water, stormwater, combined‑sewer‑effluent, and soil samples, performing a broad suite of laboratory tests (E. Coli, toxicity, suspended solids, oil & grease, nutrients, metals, organics, etc.), and delivering results within specified timeframes (E. Coli within 48 hours, other results within three weeks). The laboratory must be Massachusetts‑certified, located within 30 miles of the DPW drop‑off point, and meet insurance and indemnification requirements.
