This contract is for the provision of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to trim, cut, treat, remove, clear, and dispose of trees and brush, as well as perform application of herbicides under and along approximately 33.1 pole miles of the District's Transmission and Distribution System. The work will commence at the Bunk Foss Substation and head east along Bunk Foss Road, then north along 103rd Ave. SE, continues south along 99th Ave., near the city of Snohomish, in Snohomish County, Washington. • The contract has an engineer's estimate of $386,000.00. • The bid opening was held on April 22, 2020. • The bid proposals are currently under evaluation. • The contract is for prequalified electrical work for Category D-1 "Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance, Tree and Brush Work." • A pre-bid meeting was held on April 16, 2020, to answer questions regarding the scope of work, site conditions, and any matters of general concern.
